Glossary
The words the SalexHub documentation uses, each in one sentence, with the page that explains it.

A word marked with a book in the documentation is defined here. Hover over it, or focus it, to read the definition in place.
Access default#
An object's floor for who sees records beyond their own: Private (the owner, their team and admins), Public read or Public read/write.
The Agent#
SalexHub's AI assistant, which works in your organization as the person using it, through the same tools as the interface, and can do only what that person can.
AI credits#
SalexHub's unit for AI work, USD 0.01 each: they meter the work around every AI call, and credits you paid for run AI without a provider key of your own.
AI provider key#
Your organization's own API key from Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, DeepSeek or Vercel AI Gateway, one per provider; that provider's models then run on it and bill you directly.
Approval rule#
A rule that holds an act, such as confirming a large purchase order, until the people it names say yes, whether a person, a workflow or the Agent asked.
Audit log#
The record of who did what in the organization, from where and when, refused attempts included; rows cannot be edited or deleted and are kept 24 months.
Autonomy mode#
How much the Agent may do without asking: Ask every time (the default), Auto inside the organization, Auto including replies or Full autonomy; it never adds a permission.
Card#
A step the Agent proposes, shown in the conversation with Approve and Decline; nothing changes and nothing is sent until a person approves it.
Chat#
The second way to work: at chat.salexhub.com the conversation is the whole screen and the Agent does the work, on the same organization, records and permissions as the app.
Document step#
A move in a document's lifecycle, such as a quote accepted or an invoice issued, made only through its own action and sent as its own event.
Embed#
Live, read-only data from records you publish, placed on a site SalexHub does not host with a script tag, or fetched from one address as JSON or HTML.
Field access#
Per-property rules saying, for everyone else and each role level, whether a value is editable, read-only, masked to a hint or hidden altogether.
Form key#
The public key, starting with slxf_, that every submission to the form endpoint names, so SalexHub knows which form and organization it belongs to.
Industry pack#
An installable set of objects and properties for one industry, such as real estate, found under Packs in Settings; the Agent installs one only on a card.
Legal entity#
One of the businesses inside your organization that issues quotes and invoices, with its own legal name, address, tax registrations and run of document numbers.
Marketing hub#
The module holding campaigns, forms and web analytics; off in a new organization, it can be switched on under a paid plan or during the 14-day trial.
Object#
A kind of record, built in such as Contacts and Deals or one your organization adds, each with its own properties, lists, views, import and export.
Organization#
Your business's own base in SalexHub: its records, members, legal entities and settings all live inside it, walled off from every other organization.
Property#
One value every record of an object carries, such as a deal's stage or a contact's email, with its own type, field access and What AI may do.
Record#
One entry of an object, such as a contact, a deal or an invoice; records link to one another, so every part of the product works on the same ones.
Role#
What a member may see and do: a built-in role such as Owner, Admin, Member or Viewer, or a custom role your organization builds from object permissions and rights.
Signing secret#
The secret, starting with whsec_, shown once when a webhook endpoint is created, that proves a delivery's signature came from SalexHub.
Tool registry#
The one list of operations, called tools, that the Agent, workflows, API keys and most screens act through; each tool's class decides when it may run unattended.
Webhook delivery#
One event sent to one endpoint: a signed POST tried up to five times under the same delivery id, and listed with its status in Recent deliveries.
What AI may do#
A property's setting for the Agent: Never change it, Propose a change (the default: the value waits on a card) or Change it without asking.
