PlatformImport & export
Bring everything. Take it with you.
Import the file you already have, from whatever you run today, and see what will happen before anything is written. Export any view, back up all your data as one file, and undo an import in one step if it went wrong.
Moving in should not be a project.
Any file you have
CSV, TSV, Excel's XLSX and the older XLS, in any encoding and up to 512 MB. Contacts, companies and deals come in by the chunk, up to the 1,048,576 rows a spreadsheet holds; any other type, your own objects included, up to 5,000 rows a file.
Columns that find their fields
A column called Amount, Close date or Contact owner finds its field the way another CRM's export names it. Add a field while you map, keep the mapping of an earlier import, and match owners by email address or name.
Several kinds of record in one file
One row can carry the company, the contact, the deal and the activity, and records link to each other by a key column, within one file or across several.
A rehearsal before anything is written
The rehearsal reads the whole file and names what is wrong row by row instead of refusing it. Rows that look like someone you already have wait for your choice: update, skip or create.
Undo an import in one step
An import is one batch, and the batch can be taken back: what it created is archived and what it changed goes back. A record somebody edited after the import is skipped, never overwritten.
Export any view
Download a view as CSV or XLSX, with its columns or every field you may read. Up to 10,000 records download at once; a larger export runs in the background and you get a link. Every import and export is listed in Settings, an import with the rows it could not bring in.
Back up all your data
One ZIP: a CSV file for each record type, the links between records, and a README that names what was left out and why. It runs in the background, the link arrives by email, and the file is kept 30 days.
The Agent can import for you. It cannot take your data out alone.
Ask the Agent to bring a file in and it runs the same import, with the same rehearsal. An export waits for your approval in every mode, and a backup of all your data is a person's act only.

Each square is a mode, left to right: Ask every time (the default), Auto inside the organization, Auto including replies and Full autonomy. A filled square means the Agent runs the tool in that mode without asking.
It reads and writes the same records as everything else.
- Objects & dataAn import fills any object, your own included, and its fields keep their own rules: formats, required values, options.
- CRMA row that looks like a contact you already have is matched before it becomes a second one.
- Control & auditAn export and a backup hold only what the person who made them may read, and each one is in the audit log.
Your data stays yours, and visible.
- An export and a backup contain only the records and fields the person who made them may read; fields left out are named.
- No agent can start a backup of all your data, in any mode.
- An export the Agent asks for waits for a person's approval in every mode.
- A person runs up to three exports at a time, and an organization makes one backup a day.
- Export and backup files are kept 30 days in private storage and handed out by a fresh link each time.
- Undo never overwrites a record that changed after the import: it skips it and says so.

All changesImport from any source
Import CSV, TSV, XLSX and XLS in any encoding and up to 512 MB, with the column headers other CRMs write, relations by key between files, and the owner matched by email address or name.
One file with several kinds of record
A single file can carry companies, contacts, deals and activities in the same row, and the rehearsal names what is wrong instead of refusing the file.
Mapping that remembers, duplicates you decide
Reuse the mapping of an earlier import, add a property while mapping, and choose what happens to rows that look like someone you already have.
A log of every import and export
Settings > Imports and Settings > Exports keep every run, an import with a file of the rows that failed, and an export downloads as CSV or XLSX.
One platform for the whole business.
Every module works on the same records, and the Agent works on them with your permissions.
